GRAPHIC DESIGN

pflag Canada

I work with pflag Canada as their freelance graphic designer, creating bilingual digital and print materials that support national advocacy and awareness efforts. From developing campaign assets for a grant-funded initiative with Wisdom2Action and Canadian Blood Services to designing chapter logos, report templates, and social media graphics, I help ensure pflag’s visual communications are accessible, consistent, and aligned with their mission to support, educate, and advocate for 2SLGBTQ+ communities across the country.

One of the things I value most in my work with pflag Canada is the opportunity to create design solutions that are both impactful and community centered.

What began as a national awareness campaign focused on queer blood donation policies has grown into an ongoing freelance role. I work closely with the national board secretary to ensure every asset, whether digital or print, reflects pflag’s values of support, education, and advocacy.

This work includes bilingual social media graphics, custom chapter logos, branded templates, and a series of informational rack cards used by local chapters at events and outreach activities. These printed materials cover topics like using correct gender pronouns, being a supportive ally, and understanding key 2SLGBTQIA+ terms, helping communities across Canada share inclusive, accessible information in a consistent visual format.

Below are a sample of the materials I created as part of this ongoing collaboration.
