I'm Eleanor, a communications designer and freelance photographer based in Vancouver, BC.

As a designer at a local communications agency, I focus on creating visually compelling print and digital content that effectively communicates essential project details to diverse stakeholders. With expertise in graphic design, I produce a wide range of materials, including ads, reports, banners, templates, graphics, illustrations, and social media assets. My contributions extend to major infrastructure projects across the province and beyond, working with clients such as CPKC, BHP, Teck, TC Energy, BC Housing, the City of Vancouver, FortisBC, Langara College, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, and the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, among others.

I have always been drawn to the creative side of communication. My interest in language led me to study English Literature and Political Science at the University of Victoria, but it was in early professional roles that I discovered a passion for design. I found joy in creating eye-catching materials with whatever tools were available and eventually built a website to showcase my photography. That hands-on exploration led to a role at a marketing agency in Vancouver, where I immersed myself in the fast paced world of creative production and digital storytelling. Encouraged by a colleague, I applied to BCIT’s New Media Design and Web Development program to deepen both my creative and technical skills. After completing my studies, I returned to the communications field as a graphic designer, combining my background in language with a strong visual skillset to craft meaningful, effective work.

Outside of work, I enjoy a range of creative pursuits, from cooking and cycling, to thrifting, sewing and any craft I can get my hands on. However, my favourite moments are those spent with family and friends, exploring the Pacific Northwest by land or sea, often with my camera in hand.
